CanvasCanvas

Traditional untreated cotton duck is stocked in three weights. Canvas treated with a fungicide is stocked only in 60" #10.

Unless instructed otherwise canvas will not be folded but will be shipped rolled in a cardboard tube. There will be an extra UPS charge for this oversized package.

The heavy weight canvas is 72" wide #8. This is the canvas I use on the larger boats, war canoes, square sterns, etc. The rule of thumb I use is that any boat that needs 72" wide canvas should be covered with #8.

72", #8 (18 oz. per sq. ft.) - $5.50/ln. ft.

The mid-weight canvas is 60" wide #10. This is the canvas that most canoes are covered with today. The weight added by #10 canvas and traditional filler is about 20 lbs. for a 16" canoe.

60" wide #10 canvas: (14.73 oz. per sq. yd.)
  $4.50/ln. ft.

84" wide #10 canvas: $6.25/ln. ft.

Mildew Resistant Canvas, Treated with a fungicide to resist mildew.

60" wide #10 canvas (14.7 0z. per sq. yd.)
$5.00/ln. ft.
60" wide #12 canvas (11.5oz. per sq. yd.) $4.50/ln.ft.

The light-weight canvas is 60" wide #12. A 16' covered with #12 canvas will be about 6 or 7 lb. lighter than a canoe done in #10.

60" wide #12 canvas: (11.5 oz. per sq. yd.) $4.00/ln. ft.
